audigy 2 nx support

Audigy 2 NX support?

Hello,
I have an Audigy 2 NX external USB sound device. There appears to be no drivers for vista on creative site. I have vista build 5308 and when I attached it, vista installed it as usb audio device and recognized almost all futures that the device has. But to problem is that it never initializes the device(mute on device is always on) but in windows it seems everything is ok. I can play music trough it, except that sound never gets to device(or device doesn't play it) Has anyone same problem? Is there any workaround?
cheers, Tomaz

Have you contacted the manufacturer about Vista support and availability, are there any beta drivers or if any will be? -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm

Somebody on this group suggested the KX Project driver at http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/index.php?language=en the other day. This works with my Audigy 2 despite coming up with several error messages from time to time.

I did. But I'm not sure it will work with external USB soundcard. Well, just try, it may work!

They do not support NX and other external audio cards. Unfortunately... http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/faq.php?language=en#Q54
